D & D Leasing UK Ltd (“D&D”) have appointed a new Broker Manager, Peter Walters, to their team. Working out of their London Office, Peter joins Paul Fenton, in delivering D&D services and support to their Brokers.
Head of Business, Brian Jerome said, “We are delighted to welcome Pete to the team, he brings a wealth of experience in this sector.. He is a natural fit to our operation as specialists in Entrepreneurial Finance to the Broker Community.”
Peter joins the Team having previously worked at Barclays Asset Finance, One World and Alliance & Leicester. Most recently he was working in a direct capacity with SMEs delivering value services outside of the asset finance market.
Now in their fourth year of operation, and having entered during the maelstrom of financial crisis in January 2009, D&D has continued to focus on and support smaller ticket transactions. Typically aimed at owner manager type businesses, D&D assess each proposal on its own merits, concentrating more on the underlying business credentials and cash flow serviceability of that business and its owners, rather than the balance sheet or remarketing value of the assets financed. They operate a very much “hands-on” business model with the Broker Managers in regular dialogue with Customers to mitigate any issues early on, resulting in durable relationship and low default levels across the portfolio.
