UK SME-focused lessor D&D Leasing is expanding its asset finance product base to include the finance of light commercial vehicles and trucks and trailers.

D&D also recently negotiated a funding facility with a private investor to increase its lending in the professional loans, VAT and insurance markets. The latest facility follows one with Conister Bank agreed in December 2012.

Bill Dost, managing director of D&D, said he hoped both the facility and sector expansion would allow the firm to “continue to serve the entrepreneurial and SME sectors, while allowing for steady growth in its product base.”

He said: “D&D Leasing has a commitment to serve the SME market aggressively, and where the big banks cannot, and we will continue to stand with our customer base.”
