After two well-attended annual conferences from the Leasing Foundation in London and Paris, the Foundation returned to London, to Siemens’ environmentally friendly East London headquarters, to address the topic of sustainability.

The conference split into two days: day one covered breakaway sessions which included a fintech favourite topic, the internet of things, with academics from Newcastle University.

Another session covered the Foundation’s leadership programme, The Leasing Foundation Future Leaders, a session on human resources, a session on gender equality, and a networking session for young leasing professionals.

The second day of the conference featured the main presentations, including Louise Hadland, group HR director for Shoosmiths, on sustaining an employer brand, Guy Smith from Cisco Capital talking about the internet of everything, and Richard Saulet on Metro Bank’s culture and development.
